The cup is made of tapioca starch and has a heat tolerance of 212°F. After use, it can be discarded in regular trash where it will biodegrade in a landfill or composted. They can be composted at home without commercial compost.
The cup wall, formed by hot pressing, is thick yet light weight. Our cups also slow down temperature loss. There is no need to use a cup sleeve when filling with hot drinks because of the unique material. The product does not form condensation droplets when filled with iced drinks.
