Tapioca starch, a natural alternative to styrofoam.
Styrofoam is a massive problem in our landfills, taking up 20-30% of our current landfill space. Styrofoam also contains toxic chemicals that can leech into our water supply. Not to mention, it takes virtually forever to decompose.
After extensive research and testing with various raw materials, we have chosen tapioca as the main ingredient in our patented starch technology manufacturing process.

What Does Biodegradable or Compostable Mean?
Biodegradable refers to the ability of materials to break down and return to nature. In order for products or materials to qualify as biodegradable, they must completely break down and decompose into natural elements within a short time after disposal – typically a year or less.
Compostable means all the materials in the product or package will break down, or otherwise become part of, usable compost (e.g., soil-conditioning material, mulch) in a safe and timely manner. Compostable disposable food containers must meet ASTM standards for compostable materials. EverECO products actually enrich the soil.
